About the role...
- The Recruiter role recruits quality agency owner candidates through active and passive recruiting systems and methods in applicable markets.
- Utilizes approved recruiting sources, methods, and processes to attract, identify, and recruit candidates for identified opportunities as necessary to achieve targets and as directed.
- Interviews candidates who align with the targeted candidate profiles, verifies eligibility, explains the various components of our opportunities as related to the overall value proposition, and guides candidates through the recruiting process including, but not limited to, insurance licensing and appointment.
- Introduces, works with, and hands off candidates to others including District Managers.
- Works proactively to consistently fill and maintain the recruiting pipeline funnel by immediately working warm leads, engaging in activities such as open houses and workshops, capturing, and updating systems with complete and accurate information.
- Shares feedback on trends, best practices, and opportunities with peers and business partners.
What you'll accomplish...
- Responsible for achieving assigned objectives related to the recruiting of agency owner candidates in applicable markets.
- Executes recruiting techniques and approaches for recruiting agency owner candidates across specific channels to achieve targets, including emailing, calling, and leading and/or participating in recruiting open houses and workshops.
- Determines eligibility and interest levels of candidates utilizing effective recruiting and interviewing techniques.
- Refers candidates to other opportunities as appropriate.
- Recruiting efforts may extend beyond agency owner candidates based on strategic objectives.
- Implements multiple active outbound recruiting methods for targeted candidate types.
- Monitors and acts on inbound activity in a timely manner and as appropriate, including warm leads delivered from other sources and teams.
- Implements recruiting strategies, tactics, and campaigns.
- Ensures that the agency owner opportunity is being presented accurately, professionally, with integrity, and with the perspectives of the candidate and company in mind.
- Utilizes approved materials, technology, and vendors.
- Maintains expected compliance relating to legal regulations within company strategy.
- Engages and supports candidates throughout the recruiting and licensing process, including explaining various aspects of becoming an agency owner, the overall value proposition, program requirements, revenue opportunities, and available resources.
- Tracks and guides candidates throughout the licensing and appointment process.
- Utilizes tracking systems to monitor and record recruiting activities.
- Maintains up-to-date records of activity, interactions, and candidate statuses using approved systems and methods.
- Utilizes reporting to track and evaluate results.
- Reports any system, process, or data issues in a timely manner.
- Participates in ongoing development to identify new techniques to recruit candidates across a variety of channels and platforms.
- Maintains up-to-date skills and knowledge for positioning the agency owner value proposition, overcoming objectives, identifying candidate eligibility, and other aspects of recruiting desirable agency owner candidates.
- Focuses on niche, advanced recruitment portfolio.
- Anticipates and takes action to proactively address potential obstacles in attracting agency owner candidates.
- Provides relevant intel and feedback on programs, vendors, systems, competitors, and markets.
- Collaborates closely with peers and manager to identify and share best practices and opportunities related to recruiting and the candidate experience.
- Provides feedback including suggestions for new resources, vendors, and capabilities, along with the effectiveness of any existing.
- Partners with leadership to continuously research and test new techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Builds and maintains strong partnerships with colleagues. Assists the manager with training and developing peers.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
Education needed...
Experience needed...
Minimum one year of job-related experience required in sales and/or recruiting, preferably recruiting to sales positions and/or business owners. Experience utilizing internal applicant tracking systems, effective prospecting methods (example, cold-calling/emailing), and/or leveraging recruiting strategies and campaigns preferred. Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
