Job Summary

The Identity and Access Management Engineer provides design, implementation, and support services for IAM solutions across the enterprise, including. This role requires an in various IAM concepts, processes, best practices, and technologies.

Essential Job Functions

Design, implement, and support various Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions

Conduct in depth technical IAM research, assessments and performance analysis to support and design technical automated IAM strategies

Lead scalability and performance planning for future IAM needs

Review and adjust existing IAM processes (provisioning, de-provisioning, re-certifications, etc..) to ensure that they are aligned with industry best practices.

Provide guidance and support for management of non-human accounts

Lead technical project execution to identify and close gaps between proposed and implemented designs

Design and architect the overall technology solution/platform, taking into account the business needs, technical needs, and industry best practices.
Sets the future direction and technical direction of technology platforms.
Serve as lead for large-scale security projects/initiatives.
Develop milestones and timelines for assigned security projects/initiatives.
Demonstrate ownership of assigned projects/initiatives from initiation to completion.
Serve as an internal consultant and advisor in own area of expertise.
Drive large-scale projects forward independently by coordinating with external teams and tracking deliverables not specifically owned by Farmers.
Provide ongoing guidance or oversight of Analysts and Specialists tasks.
Develop on-the-job training materials or programs. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

B.S. degree in a computer science, information technology, computer related discipline or 5+ years IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

Seven to ten years professional experience in IT Security or Information Security Risk consulting and Project Management, or comparable base of knowledge/expertise in the field, required.

Special Skill Requirement

Hands-on experience with the Oracle Identity Stack, (OIM, OIA, OID)

Hands-on experience with various SSO tools such as Siteminder and Okta

Experience working with Active Directory and other LDAP technologies

Experience with SAML, OAuth, and OpenID

Additional Qualification

Possesses strong technical aptitude Demonstrated experience in Risk Assessment, Security Assessment/Testing, and Information Risk Compliance skills. Effective leadership skills. Demonstrated analytical skills. Solid critical thinking skills to create and articulate logical, risk-based outcomes. Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents. Possesses a high degree of initiative. Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills. Demonstrates a high commitment to quality. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CIPP, or equivalent Certification preferred, upon hire.
