Job Summary

Performs various duties as assigned within electronic services department to include the solicitation of target member groups for usage of specific Credit Union products/services.

Essential Job Functions

  • Solicits members within target group to cross sell Credit Union products/services, in accordance with departmental goals.
  • Performs member relations follow-up calls to all new members, cross sells additional savings and loan products in accordance with goals.
  • Serves as a member ombudsman, researches and responds to member complaints/concerns, confers with supervisor or manager for appropriate action on the member's behalf.
  • Assists Member Services and Special Accounts departments with overflow member contacts during peak times and answers member inquiries concerning policies and procedures.
  • Contacts members with terminated accounts monthly as directed by supervisor.
  • Provides feedback or recommendations to supervisor for electronic services marketing strategies and operational improvements.
  • Strives to meet sales goals for specified products/services to be sold.
  • Performs minimum number of contact monthly in accordance with departmental goals, as determined by supervisor.
  • Travels as needed to assist marketing department in field presentations and promotions.
  • Prepares monthly reports.
  • Performs other functions as assigned.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

Three years' experience in a financial institution, preferably in customer/member services, involving heavy member contact and sales.

Special Skill Requirement

None required.

Physical Actions

Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum.

Physical Environment

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.
