CU Real Est Loan Processor


Job Summary

Assists in all phases of real estate loan functions, including committing, controlling, closing, funding, servicing and foreclosure of real estate and consumer loans.

Essential Job Functions

Processes and packages 2nd trust deed loans for loan officer adjudication. Obtains property appraisals and title searches as directed. Obtains and reviews credit ratings, deeds, insurance, bids and other supporting documents necessary for loan completion as directed. Reviews fire insurance coverages and takes appropriate remedial actions. Assists in funding and closing of all loan types. Completes loan payoff transactions and prepares documentation required to accomplish foreclosure and disposal of real property securing loans. Reviews loan documentation for accuracy and compliance. Follows for timely return of documents from third party vendors, i.e. title company, appraisers, document drawers, etc. Assists in gathering market data as needed. Assists in tracking loans in process. Submits payroll/folio deduction changes. Performs other functions as assigned.

Physical Actions

Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum.

Physical Environment

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

One year in real estate mortgage lending or equivalent.

Special Skill Requirement

Proficiency with computers.
