Job Summary
Drives growth in the Sales API distribution channel by working with external partners to facilitate technical integrations, remove roadblocks, and design solutions. Provides business technology consultation to the business units, service centers and the field, in aligning technology solutions with business strategies to meet the needs of the end users. Actively seeks ways to apply technology to business processes, researching and providing information on technical trends and competitive practices relative to the business.
Essential Job Functions
- Assists in the coordination with business partners to recommend technology solutions to meet business goals and objectives.
- Analyzes, evaluates and makes recommendations regarding existing computerized and manual systems and procedures to ensure meeting the needs of the Digital Agency Force, the Business Units, the Field and Business Support Centers.
- Meets with Agents to assess their needs and establish business priorities; consults with technical subject matter experts and develops alternative technical solutions; advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities; recommends improvement methods.
- Implements processes and methodologies to establish an effective, in- house research capability. Monitors systems and processes to determine improvements in user interfaces, training or functionality.
- Evaluates and approves recommendations made by various Company functional operations to improve their operations through technology.
- Oversees user administration issues associated with agents and employees.
- Works with business partners and I/T functions to communicate and clarify business needs.
- Assists in maintaining the quality control of all sites and tools.
- Provide technical tool problem solving and consultation to meet the needs of the users consistently and effectively.
- Manage and monitor the effectiveness of website links, service providers, application and database utilization, security directories, and project assignments.
- Keeps current with industry trends and makes recommendations for new technology and/or tools.
- Provides regular written and verbal status reports on all new and ongoing projects.
- Conducts the gathering and analyzing of data and metrics to determine project success and makes recommendations to improve success.
- Establish and manage user standards, services and expectations.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 5 years in a professional level job in Technology, Marketing, or Distribution.
- Proficient in data analysis.
Special Skill Requirement
- Insurance background/experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL
