Job Summary
Oversees document services and print operations according to department and enterprise strategy. Participates in strategic and tactical planning and implementation. Ensures dependable and efficient operations that meet customer requirements and organizational objectives. Leads and supervises direct reports.

What You'll Do
- Oversees document services and print operations and monitors operational performance.
- Develops, understands, and improves key performance indicators and SLAs.
- Reports operational performance to leadership.
- Identifies, implements, and leads continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participates in strategic planning and contributes to the development of business plans for the department.
- Directs and leads document services and print functions including document design, document imaging and indexing, print pre-flight, document pre and post composition, print on demand system modules, enterprise inventory management, and online supply ordering.
- Ensures high-quality and low-cost deliverables.
- Manages vendor relationships including cost, timeliness, and contractual adherence.
- Manages, coaches, trains, and develops direct reports.
- Reviews budget and ensures expense management according to plan.
- Directs, reviews, and coordinates department communications including executive-level presentations.
- Interfaces and consults with stakeholders and business partners across the enterprise.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- 7-10 years of related experience required, including operations management or leadership experience.
- Experience in electronic or print document distribution preferred.
- Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships preferred.
Additional Technical Qualifications
- Experience leading software development and software architecture teams.
- Familiarity with software development paradigms.
- Experience with SAFe/Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with execution and timely delivery of major enterprise projects.
- Ability to navigate highly dynamic environment operating 24/6.
- Ability to design, document, and implement complex processes involving multiple stakeholders.
- Occasional weekend schedule for application changes, deployments, and defect mitigation.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry, preferred.
- Familiarity with various programming languages: Java, .NET, PowerBilder, C++, Scripting Languages, etc., preferred.
- Familiarity with Mainframe, AWS, Azure, and other cloud services, preferred.
- Familiarity with (Gen)AI concepts, preferred.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in business, marketing or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
Physical Actions
This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions. Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
