Job Summary

This position performs quality control functions for the Document Services and Logistics (DS&L) division. The role works in a fast-paced production environment that supports the printing and mailing of documents. This position partners with other internal departments to ensure that all quality standards and USPS regulations are met and proper records documentation is maintained. Performs work with supervision.

Essential Job Functions

  • Performs control functions, including job balancing, job and packet-level tracking, overseeing exception processes, preparing outgoing mail for induction to USPS postal system, data entry work, monitoring and reporting on production quality issues, and preparing internal reports for management.
  • Ensures all proof of processing documentation is accurately competed and organized to be saved as a business record.
  • Assists with processing mail manually or through a tabletop inserting machine.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

  • Some industry experience required.
  • Possesses strong technical aptitude.
  • Basic to intermediate skills in MS Excel required.
  • Basic skills in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and internal systems preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.

Hours & Location You'll Work

  • This is a 3rd Shift opportunity onsite in our Caledonia, MI DS&L Location.
  • Shift Hours: Sunday - Thursday from 11:30 pm to 8:00 am.
  • A 10% shift differential applies working this shift.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Regularly performs movements such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching overhead or below the knees. Possesses clear vision, with or without correction, to visually read and verify information. Relies on depth perception and peripheral vision to navigate the work environment visually by identifying barriers, changes in terrain and locating objects. Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate with co-workers, respond promptly to auditory signals or alarms, and discern sounds essential for maintaining safety and productivity in the workplace.
