Job Summary
- This position performs all essential operational functions of a highly technical central station environment such as monitoring and responding to alarm systems, reporting, and escalating notification on security related issues.
- This role works in tandem with operational team members to ensure the protection and security of all Company employees, visitors, contractors, property, and brand.
Essential Job Functions
- Provides 24/7 support via monitoring, processing, and responding to all technological activity to ensure timely and effective resolution including but not limited to: threat and investigation triage, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), alarms, access incidents, life safety systems, Closed Circuit Television review, and facilitate emergency response activities.
- Utilizes multi-tasking skills to communicate, evaluate, and determine the best approach in a high pressure and time sensitive environment.
- Configures, programs and tests security equipment for proper function.
- Translates activity into accurate written correspondence and responsible for data entry of items.
- Participates in all assigned training to include but not limited to: report writing, effective communication, evacuation drills, violent intruder scenarios, operational systems, policy and procedure/post order reviews.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Location
- On-site position in Caledonia, MI
Work Schedule
- Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Wednesday and Thursday from midnight-8:30am
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:30pm-midnight
Education Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Requirements
- One year of related experience required with emphasis in Central Station or Security Operations Center preferred.
- Experience in law enforcement, military, dispatch center, private security preferred.
Special Skill Requirement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and by written correspondence in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deliverables.
Physical Actions
- This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
- Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
- Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
- Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
- Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects.
- Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
