Workplace: Hybrid

Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of a Farmers corporate office. Applicants beyond a fifty (50) mile radius may still be considered. 

Job Summary

  • Responsible for the achievement of new business premium through the selling of personal lines property and casualty products.
  • Obtains customers through inbound and outbound phone calls.
  • Develops and builds business relationships with outside vendors through phone calling and visits to an assigned territory.
  • Help with mentoring and training of team and special projects as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

Quoting, department underwriting and issuing policies through multiple systems. Analyzing customer needs. Researching policy options. Customer and business prospecting calls Territory research and vendor visits Training and Mentoring Special projects as assigned.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

1 – 3 years insurance sales experience

Special Skill Requirement

Maintains resident and non-resident property and casualty license.
