Workplace: Hybrid ( #LI-Hybrid )

Job Summary

The Creative Marketing Specialist serves as a core member of the Creative Marketing team, responsible for the end-to-end creative development and production of marketing assets across a mix of brand, performance, social and sponsorships. Reporting to the Director of Marketing but working closely with the Creative Marketing Manager, this role will own specific campaigns and channels. This role is expected to be a strategic doer who translates business goals into creative briefs and drives projects from concept to launch. This role requires an agile professional who can manage both the creative vision and the tactical production requirements of our brand, performance, and sponsorship initiatives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supports the creative development and agency liaison by owning projects, providing strategic briefings, and serving as a key agency partner.
  • Manages the creative production process for assigned campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Helps write insightful creative briefs that clearly articulate target audiences, key messaging, and project requirements for our agency partners.
  • Serves as a point of contact for external agencies on assigned workstreams, providing actionable feedback and guiding projects through to final approval.
  • Ensures marketing materials align to business objectives, product information, and brand messaging while communicating to resonate with target audiences and consumers.
  • Oversees production and execution by providing creative stewardship, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, and focusing on technical optimization.
  • Reviews and approves creative work, providing critical feedback to ensure assets resonate with audiences and accurately reflect our product/brand story.
  • Coordinates the review process with internal business units (Legal, Product, Media) to ensure all assets are compliant and approved within tight deadlines.
  • Partners with the media team to ensure creative assets are perfectly optimized for their intended placements, from digital display to large-scale sponsorship activations.
  • Works alongside the Creative Marketing Manager to ensure brand coherence across the entire marketing ecosystem.
  • Supports the team by sharing best practices, flagging production bottlenecks, and helping to maintain the team’s collective creative asset library.
  • Takes initiative to identify potential production risks and propose solutions before they impact campaign timelines.
  • Incorporates industry trends, competitor activity, and internal performance data into your daily creative decisions to elevate the quality of our output. 
  • Takes ownership of projects, partnering with the Creative Marketing Manager to ensure the team hits its goals and manages up to the Director of Marketing. 
  • Partners with Brand Strategy to analyze data to understand target audience, market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Uses insights gained through market research to recommend strategic content initiatives and campaigns that align with marketing objectives.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, cultural shifts, and emerging topics to identify content opportunities and capitalize on timely and relevant issues.

Physical Actions

Job is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location. The physical work environment is indoors and climate-controlled with adequate lighting and ventilation. Normal and customary distractions include background noise produced by office equipment and chatter among people, as well as interruptions. Frequently sits for prolonged periods of time, up to a full shift. Occasionally moves about the workplace including, navigating stairs, ramps, and level or uneven surfaces. Occasionally moves, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and/or places objects or materials weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Frequently uses shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate equipment, tools, and objects necessary to perform job duties. Frequently performs fine motor tasks such as typing, mousing, or writing, up to a full shift. Rarely performs movements such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or below the knees. Possesses clear vision, with or without correction, to visually read and verify information. Relies on depth perception and peripheral vision to navigate the work environment visually by identifying barriers, changes in terrain and locating objects. Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate with co-workers, respond promptly to auditory signals or alarms, and discern sounds essential for maintaining safety and productivity in the workplace. Jobs in this category require rare, if any, travel.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred in marketing, communications, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience in marketing, agency account management, or creative production.

 

Advertising agency experience preferred

Demonstrated analytical skills. including demonstrated skill in using analytics to optimize marketing content, strategies, and campaigns. Able to use data to inform creative campaigns. Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents. Able to collaborate with internal and external business partners to bring a group to consensus. Performs work independently with minimal supervision. Possesses a high degree of initiative. Possesses strong product knowledge. including thorough knowledge of marketing principles and practices and proven ability to apply them. Possesses strong technical aptitude. including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe applications. Adaptable and flexible to new technology. Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Able to manage large volumes of work in a constantly changing environment. Maintains composure under pressure. Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion. and manages competing priorities.
