Job Summary
Essential Tasks & Leadership Philosophy
- Leads the strategy and performance of an assigned portfolio of employer, broker, and distribution partner relationships.
- Develops and executes business plans that support growth, retention, enrollment, participation, premium, and revenue objectives.
- Identifies opportunities to strengthen portfolio performance through analysis of customer needs, partner performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Leads strategic planning discussions, business reviews, and initiatives designed to improve long-term partner value and business results.
- Leads the development and execution of customer engagement and retention strategies.
- Oversees initiatives designed to strengthen employer and customer relationships, improve participation, enhance customer experiences, and support retention outcomes.
- Directs engagement activities and communication approaches by leveraging internal resources and performance insights to maximize partner value and customer outcomes.
- Maintains strategic relationships with employer groups, brokers, distribution partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Serves as an advisor and primary escalation point for significant relationship matters.
- Engages decision makers to support growth opportunities, address business needs, strengthen partnerships, and align priorities.
- Establishes effective feedback mechanisms to ensure market and partner needs are represented in business planning and execution activities.
- Leads and develops a team responsible for portfolio engagement, retention, and growth initiatives.
- Provides direction, coaching, and guidance to support effective execution and achievement of business objectives.
- Partners with sales and distribution stakeholders to support growth opportunities through consultative expertise, education, enrollment strategy guidance, and sharing of best practices.
- Coordinates efforts across marketing, product, service, operations, enrollment, technology, compliance, legal, and other business functions to support portfolio objectives.
- Aligns resources, priorities, and deliverables to execute engagement, retention, and growth initiatives effectively.
- Translates partner requirements into actionable plans and resolves issues that may impact portfolio performance, customer experience, or business outcomes.
- Monitors portfolio performance through analysis of enrollment results, participation rates, growth trends, retention outcomes, partner health indicators, and other business metrics.
- Communicates performance, opportunities, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Develops business reviews, performance reporting, and executive summaries to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Career Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelors degree is preferred but not required.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in insurance distribution, employee benefits, product marketing, sales, account management, wholesaling, or related fields.
- Experience in marketing within a B2B2C environment.
