Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for driving growth initiatives.
  • The position utilizes analytics, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities and drive execution to deliver measurable results.

Essential Job Functions

  • Drives growth and profitable business outcomes. 
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams, such as analytics, strategy, product, sales and marketing, to identify, evaluate and monitor growth opportunities for the business.
  • Drives the execution growth initiatives across the business in close coordination with business units, including distribution, marketing, UX design, product, and IT.
  • Own and drive initiatives end-to-end from opportunity identification and business case development through execution and delivery of measurable results.
  • Drives execution of key initiatives.  Works closely with other Farmers products to identify opportunities to solve gaps in cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and improve growth and income opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
  • Supports initiatives across the business as needed to enable execution of growth priorities.
  • Ensure business needs and priorities are reflected in key initiatives.
  • Supports alignment of incentives and business goals to ensure both browth and financial objectives are achieved.
  • Supports initiatives to improve business performance and product outcomes.
  • Refines and supports initiatives to improve performance and product profitability.
  • Leverages analytics and insights to inform decision-making and drive growth initiatives.
  •  Partners with Farmers and Zurich research and analytics teams to fully leverage the market intelligence available across the company, with specific focus on cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Works with the business to turn various sources of data and analytics into timely, actionable insights that support growth initiatives.

Physical Actions

  • Job is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location. The physical work environment is indoors and climate-controlled with adequate lighting and ventilation. Normal and customary distractions include background noise produced by office equipment and chatter among people, as well as interruptions. Frequently sits for prolonged periods of time, up to a full shift. Occasionally moves about the workplace including, navigating stairs, ramps, and level or uneven surfaces. Occasionally moves, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and/or places objects or materials weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Frequently uses shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate equipment, tools, and objects necessary to perform job duties. Frequently performs fine motor tasks such as typing, mousing, or writing, up to a full shift. Rarely performs movements such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or below the knees. Possesses clear vision, with or without correction, to visually read and verify information. Relies on depth perception and peripheral vision to navigate the work environment visually by identifying barriers, changes in terrain and locating objects. Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate with co-workers, respond promptly to auditory signals or alarms, and discern sounds essential for maintaining safety and productivity in the workplace. Jobs in this category require rare, if any, travel.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree Bachelors degree required with 10 years of relevant experience in strategy, operations, or execution-focused roles.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of job related experience with extensive knowledge of insurance products and field sales processes.

  • Superior consultative, interpersonal, diplomacy, communication, presentation, crisis management and facilitation skills with demonst rated ability to understand and respond to the needs of target audiences and member segments.
  • Proven planning, priority setting, time management and decision-making skills. Ability to achieve results in dynamic environment.
