Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Job Summary

This position leads and advocates for change by identifying opportunities for improvement, promoting innovative solutions, and driving the implementation of new processes to enhance the Financial Services Agent program performance and organizational outcome. Responsible for the recruiting, onboarding program, training, District Manager support, and Agent support of the Financial Services Agent program. Partners closely with Farmers New World Life (FNWL) and Farmers Financial Solutions (FFS) to meet new business targets by helping ensure FSAs (Financial Service Agents), the agents they partner with, and district managers have the support and tools they need to successfully drive sales results by cross-selling life and financial products into Farmers customer households.

Essential Job Functions

  • Performs individual check-ins with Financial Services Agents and District Managers to help drive sales results through the onboarding experience, removing roadblocks, and deploying resources to help FSA and partner agents succeed.
  • Captures what is working to celebrate wins and continually updates best practices for deployment across the territories.
  • Owns broad authority to request activities from the field integration team, Information Technology, FNWL and FFS to ensure communications, LIVE, and on-demand training touchpoints help give these teams and partner agents what they need to succeed.
  • Partners with legal, compliance, finance, contracts and compensation teams to performance manage independent contractors (that is – district manager, Financial Services Agents, and agents) to create profitable outcomes.

Physical Actions

  • Job is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location.
  • The physical work environment is indoors and climate-controlled with adequate lighting and ventilation.
  • Normal and customary distractions include background noise produced by office equipment and chatter among people, as well as interruptions.
  • Frequently sits for prolonged periods of time, up to a full shift.
  • Occasionally moves about the workplace including, navigating stairs, ramps, and level or uneven surfaces.
  • Occasionally moves, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and/or places objects or materials weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Frequently uses shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate equipment, tools, and objects necessary to perform job duties.
  • Frequently performs fine motor tasks such as typing, mousing, or writing, up to a full shift.
  • Rarely performs movements such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or below the knees.
  • Possesses clear vision, with or without correction, to visually read and verify information.
  • Relies on depth perception and peripheral vision to navigate the work environment visually by identifying barriers, changes in terrain and locating objects.
  • Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate with co-workers, respond promptly to auditory signals or alarms, and discern sounds essential for maintaining safety and productivity in the workplace.
  • Jobs in this category require rare, if any, travel.

Education Requirements

Bachelors degree required *MBA, CHfC, and/or CFP® preferred * SIE, Series 6 or 7, Series 26 or 24, and Series 63 Upon Hire *^.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum seven years of experience required in Life Insurance and Financial Services.
  • Minimum five years experience recruiting and managing financial professionals required.
  • Minimum five years wholesaling financial products or in 3rd party relationship management required.
  • Five years of experience preferred working in a system where financial professionals cultivate warm leads through internal referral training (example – licensed banker who refers opportunities to financial advisor) *^.
