Workplace: Hybrid ( #LI-Hybrid ), Remote ( #LI-Remote ) - depending on candidate location.

About the role...

  • The Distribution Sales Specialist (DSS) works as part of a centralized group with agency owners through both inbound and outbound interactions.
  • The DSS makes contact through a variety of technologies including phone, chat, and video meeting.
  • The DSS will answer operational support questions related to distribution functions including but not limited to compensation, incentives, marketing programs, initiatives, and staffing.
  • Leverages available resources and technology to answer questions accurately.

What you'll accomplish...

  • Responds operational support questions related to distribution functions including but not limited to compensation, incentives, marketing programs, initiatives, and staffing.
  • Leverages available resources and technology to answer questions accurately.
  • Accountable for measures including first contact resolution, customer satisfaction, documentation, and completing assigned activities.
  • Manages inbound activities and documents contacts.
  • Provides operational support and utilizes consultative skills to train agents and district managers on products, services and technology to achieve objectives.
  • Promotes overall company value proposition and drives results for multiple lines of business.
  • Collaborates with other functional areas to support overall agent performance such as providing feedback and assistance on initiatives.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • State insurance license.

Experience needed...

  • Minimum of three years of sales, marketing or insurance experience including knowledge of Personal Lines, Specialty, Life and Commercial lines product knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, tools, and current sales management technology preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach.
  • Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building.

    o CO Only: $79,360 - $116,380 
    o HI/IL/MN/VT Only: $79,360 - $124,300
    o MA Only: $79,360 - $124,300

             o Albany County: $84,640 - $116,380 
    o WA Only:  $79,360 - $141,250
