Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Job Summary

  • This position performs all essential operational functions of a highly technical central station environment such as monitoring and responding to alarm systems, reporting, and escalating notification on security related issues.
  • This role works in tandem with operational team members to ensure the protection and security of all Company employees, visitors, contractors, property, and brand.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provides 24/7 support via monitoring, processing, and responding to all technological activity to ensure timely and effective resolution including but not limited to: threat and investigation triage, Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), alarms, access incidents, life safety systems, Closed Circuit Television review, and facilitate emergency response activities.
  • Utilizes multi-tasking skills to communicate, evaluate, and determine the best approach in a high pressure and time sensitive environment.
  • Configures, programs and tests security equipment for proper function.
  • Translates activity into accurate written correspondence and responsible for data entry of items.
  • Participates in all assigned training to include but not limited to: report writing, effective communication, evacuation drills, violent intruder scenarios, operational systems, policy and procedure/post order reviews.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Actions

  • This role will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
  • Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
  • Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
  • Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
  • Visually verifies and reads information.
  • Visually locates material, resources and other objects.
  • Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
  • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience Requirements

  • One year of related experience required with emphasis in Central Station or Security Operations Center preferred.
  • Experience in law enforcement, military, dispatch center, private security preferred.

Special Skill Requirement

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and by written correspondence in a clear, concise, and professional manner
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize deliverables
