Head of Strategic Distribution Partnerships
Job Summary
Reporting to the President of Distribution, Chief Revenue Officer, the Head of Partnerships will Identify and pursue strategic opportunities that enable Farmers to grow profitably, continuously meet or exceed customer expectations and stay ahead of competitors and potential disruptors. This position will be responsible for generating leads and is a critical position to meet our enterprise growth strategy. This position will oversee all national partnerships across all our brands and distribution channels including: Farmers Alliances, Foremost National Accounts, Quota Share Programs and other alternative distribution strategies. An expert level awareness of industry growth and Farmers distribution strategy will be required.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the broader Distribution organization, this leader will anticipate societal shifts and the underlying drivers of market change. You would be seen as an expert who can garner consensus around specific topics or challenges that Farmers need to solve and then map markets, conduct research, attend events, discover and engage with business and technology start-ups, investors and academics. Your superpower will be evident in cultivating partnerships across all enterprise companies (Farmers, Foremost, Bristol, Brokerage, Life, Direct) that align with Farmers strategy. Shape a well-informed vision to executive leadership for how such relationships will transform Farmers.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible to:
- Grow National Alliances into a billion-dollar business unit to achieve the Farmers Growth strategy.
- Leads sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organizational change, championing change initiatives, and removing obstacles impeding constructive organizational change. Build a single organizational view of the entire alliance industry, including both internal and external data.
- Develop holistic go-to market strategy to maximize opportunity through targeted brokers Manage a team of Sales Leaders\ SR Sales Leaders to include assignment of territories, pipeline management, forecasting and reporting. Meet assigned sales goals Administer the sales compensation program for team members as applicable.

- Establish a clear vision of partnerships for Farmers that are accretive to our brand and promise to customers.
- Instill new OKRs that reflect our larger goals and influence behaviors that help achieve them.
- Build a partnership with Finance to assess and value initiatives in new ways.
Education Requirements
Candidates would ideally reflect the following professional qualifications and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years of experience.
- Ability to foster an innovative culture, encourage strategic thinking, promote learning and short-termism avoidance.
- Customer-driven focus.
- Ability to engage at all levels of the activities adopting a ‘hands on’ approach when appropriate.
