About the role...

Join a high-performing, collaborative Product Management team focused on the personal auto line of business. As a Product Analyst I, you’ll play a key role in supporting data-driven decisions that enhance profitability and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is analytical, curious, and eager to learn the fundamentals of insurance product strategy.

 

What you'll accomplish...

  • Own the end-to-end analysis process to support personal auto rate filings, including:
    • Extracting and preparing data from multiple sources.
    • Building the rate order of calculation to determine premiums by coverage.
    • Calculating rate impacts and off-balances.
    • Preparing exhibits for rate proposals and regulatory filings.
    • Updating and validating rating tables.
  • Reconcile data across systems to ensure accuracy and consistency in analysis.
  • Develop clear, concise documentation and visualizations to communicate findings and support decision-making.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance data quality.
  • Help track and evaluate key business metrics to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product changes and implementations.
  • Contribute to research efforts on market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
  • Learn and apply best practices in insurance product management, pricing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Walking, seeing, driving, speaking, hearing, standing and lifting/carrying up to 20 pounds.

Physical environment...

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment, with occasional exposure to uncontrolled outside environmental conditions.

Education needed...

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Technical skills with platforms such as SAS, SQL, Excel, PowerBI preferred.

Special skills needed...

  • Strong Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) spreadsheets and databases; other tools such as SQL, PowerBI, SAS preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building.
