Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing business application expertise during the analysis, design, construction, testing, implem entation and post-implementation phases of a system development life cycle. Key components to this position include troubleshooting complex browser and authentication problems with agents; assisting in data gathering (interviewing, document analysis, and group systems development sessions) and data analysis activities; assisting in the development of data and process models; identifying business problems and translates them into information needs; assisting in the definition of technology solutions; preparing analysis, design, and construction documentation; assisting in developing and performing of test scenarios; assisting in the planning for data conversions; participating in developing user documentation and conduction user training; assisting in the Model Office, as needed; providing monthly analysis of performance of various products/functions of e-business; and providing for quality assurance compliance to department procedures and industry standards. In addition, this position will handle other responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Job Functions

TECHNICAL SUPPORT Assist in data gathering (interviewing, document analysis, and group systems development sessions) and data analysis activities. Assist in the development of data and process models Identify business problems and translates them into information needs Assist in the definition of technology solutions Prepare analysis, design, and construction documentation Troubleshoot complex browser and authentication problems with agents TESTING Assist in developing and performing of test scenarios IMPLEMENTATION Assist in the planning for data conversions Participate in developing user documentation and conduction user training Assist in the Model Office, as needed PERFORMANCE MONITORING Provide monthly analysis of performance of various products/functions of e-business Provide for quality assurance compliance to department procedures and industry standards Perform other functions, as assigned.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. IIA Certificate of Insurance and two years of experience with Farmers/Foremost Specialty or commensurate with the Farmers Group.

Experience Requirements

Four years of experience with the Farmers Group, including experience in one or more of the project subject areas (e.g. Underwriting) with at least two years of experience as an Digital Customer Experience Analyst

Special Skill Requirement

Broad knowledge of Internet Explorer, other browsers and Adobe Acrobat Reader In depth knowledge of ForemostSTAR website and experience using ForemostSTAR Intermediate knowledge in Specialty Lines products and processing systems Broad knowledge of various agency management systems High level PC and internet skills including terminology and file downloading Intermediate skill level with MS office applications
