Farmers is a growing, digital-forward insurance carrier investing in modern recruiting infrastructure, data, and automation to support how we identify and engage talent. As an Executive Recruiter, you will have direct access to senior leadership, ownership of high-visibility and confidential searches, and the tools and analytics to run an efficient desk. You will join a function that is being built and refined, with room to shape process, influence hiring strategy, and see the impact of your placements at the most senior levels of the organization. 

Essential Job Functions

This is a hands-on, full-desk role. You will manage searches end to end—intake and role definition with hiring leaders, sourcing and market mapping, candidate outreach and screening, interview coordination, assessment, and offer negotiation through close. You will build and maintain pipelines for current and anticipated executive openings, conduct competitive research within the property and casualty and broader financial services markets, advise stakeholders on talent availability and compensation benchmarks, and keep accurate records throughout each search. The role requires balancing multiple active searches while maintaining the quality and confidentiality expected at the executive level.

Success in this role depends on the ability to build and sustain a network that reaches executive-level talent. The ideal candidate is comfortable with direct outreach to passive senior candidates, maintains relationships over long timelines, and stays active in industry associations, professional groups, and sector events. You should be skilled at developing referral sources, using professional platforms and market intelligence to map talent, and conducting the kind of discreet, credible conversations that allow you to introduce candidates to senior stakeholders. The goal is a standing presence in the market that lets you bring qualified executive talent forward. 

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.

Experience Requirements

7-10 years of recruiting experience required in an executive search or corporate recruiting function focused on identifying, assessing, attracting and hiring top executive talent who are in high demand. Experience using recruiting systems required. Leadership experience preferred.
