Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Job Summary/Essential Job Function

Responsible for developing and managing national personal lines products.  Responsibilities include profit and loss initiatives, product development, and product strategy.  Takes a leadership role in projects as assigned and provides requirements for IT for system changes.  Develops long and short term strategies and develops a product roadmap establishing priorities to align national product goals.  Directs development of product pricing  and contract changes.  Completes data analysis and research as needed to achieve product goals and stays abreast of industry standards and trends.

Physical Actions & Environment

  • Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing, and lifting and/or carrying 10 lbs maximum, and seeing.
  • Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematical or statistical field preferred.
  • Masters degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 5-8 years experience in similar role, or graduate degree and 4.5 years experience in similar role.
  • Mathematical or Statistical experience.

Special Skill Requirement

  • PC Skills, including Excel, Access, SAS, Word and basic programming for statistical purposes.
  • Project management and Guidewire PC.
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn advanced insurance pricing concepts and insurance terms and structure.
  • Verbal/written communication skills, including ability to make presentations and write articles publishable in trade magazines.

    o CO Only: $109,920 - $146,200 
    o HI Only: $109,920 - $156,500
    o IL Only: $109,920 - $156,500
    o NY/ DC Only: ​​​​​​​$107,200 - $159,424  
             o Albany County: $116,960 - $146,200
