Job Summary

NDC Inbound Mail Processors II assist NDC Supervisors with volume reporting, distribution of workload to Teams, working with Teams on improving workflow processes and the initial training of new employees and follow up training for all employees. They are also responsible for the physical pickup of mail from the USPS Distribution Centers. They are the main contact for standard workflow and process questions. They work directly with equipment vendors to setup unscheduled maintenance appointments and gathering meter counts. Responsible for maintaining supply inventories of paper, office supplies and patch codes. During heavy volume times, maybe be required to perform same job duties as the NDC Inbound Mail Processor I. Work is completed in a very fast paced production environment where it is expected that all mail be processed and sent for scanning by the end of shift. May work a schedule outside of traditional business hours. Will be required to work in uncontrolled climate conditions.

 

Work Location: 7340 West Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73142

Starting Hourly Rate: $15.50

Position typically works the following schedule: Monday - Friday 3:15 AM - 11:45 AM Central. May require overtime. 

Essential Job Functions

Assists NDC Supervisors with hourly volume report by collecting data, condensing the data on a spreadsheet, and providing recommendations on improving efficiencies based on data collected to the leadership team. Answers Inbound Mail Processor questions and conducts hands-on training on processes when needed. Assists Mail Center Leadership prepare daily schedules. Reviews processor work type and counts making adjustments as needed. Counts and records all mail volumes and sends daily reports to Leadership Team. Distributes daily workload to correct processing Teams by type of mail. Responsible for inspecting mail van to ensure all mail is removed. Performs routine cleaning and assessment that all aspects of the van to ensure they are in working order. When work volume is high, will perform all duties required of NDC Inbound Processor I. Drives Mail Van to physically pickup daily mail from USPS Mail Distribution Center. Ensures mail tubs are correctly sorted by post o ffice box numbers, signs for all accountable mail and ensures accountable mail is entered into tracking system upon return from post office. Maintains supply inventories, scheduling of mailing equipment service, meter counts and oversees routine cleaning schedules. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid drivers license and MVR required. Must be bondable.

Basic verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets Must be able to multi-task with good hand/eye coordination
