Selected candidate must reside in the state of Nebraska to meet with new Farmers Agents and other stakeholders. This position cannot be done remotely from another state due to the need for meetings at new agent office locations throughout Nebraska. This position comes with a company vehicle.

About the role...

Coaches new agents within a given assignment with a focus on supporting agency operations, staffing, marketing and business management. Responsible for new business and premium objectives for new agents across all lines of business including Personal Lines, Life, Business Insurance, Specialty, and Bristol West.

What you'll accomplish...

Responsible for facilitating all aspects of the new agent appointment process to include forecasting, agent placement, onboarding, and agent success. Responsible for the overall performance of agencies including staffing and engagement in bonuses or financial support programs. Leverages business intelligence and all processing systems to manage assigned agencies. Promotes overall company value proposition and drives results for multiple lines of business including Personal, Life, Specialty and Business Insurance. Uses coaching skills to train on products, marketing, services and technology to achieve sales objectives. Completes timely entries in CRM platform to include information about agency contact, activity, and products discussed.

Education needed...

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. P&C and Life, along with Accident & Health Licenses within 6 months

Experience needed...

Five Years with Farmers or comparable industry experience required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach

Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude

Excellent time management skills
