Workplace: Hybrid ( #LI-Hybrid ), Remote ( #LI-Remote ) - depending on candidate location

Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. About the role...

  • This position builds and maintains a pipeline of partnership and agency distribution opportunities including large, complex, national accounts.
  • The role serves as the primary contact for assigned existing partnerships and delivers excellent partner experiences to build loyalty and create additional revenue opportunities.
  • Executes company strategy to realize premium, profitability, and growth objectives.
  • Maintains a deep knowledge of company product and technology offerings, industry trends, and competitive intelligence.

What you'll accomplish...

  • Manages assigned partnership account(s) to deliver on stated goals and objectives.
  • Develops and maintains trust-based relationships with key executives and stakeholders.
  • Maintains partnership roadmap and effectively tracks progress using designated customer relationship management tool and other platforms.
  • Works cross-functionally with team members and vendors to advance partnership needs, resolve issues quickly, maintain profitable growth, and create additional revenue opportunities.
  • Maintains deep understanding of technology and serves as liaison between tech teams and partnership accounts to ensure technology provided meets partner’s needs.
  • Analyzes relevant data for account optimization opportunities.
  • Prepares and presents regular account performance reports internally and externally.
  • Identifies and advances opportunities for operational improvement where possible.
  • Establishes and maintains a consistent pipeline of potential partnership accounts.
  • Prepares and maintains up-to-date market analysis, go-to-market strategy, and competitive intelligence.
  • Prepares, maintains, and presents business development materials such as pitch deck, business case, etc.
  • Develops and maintains trust-based relationships with key executives and stakeholders.
  • Prospects and closes new partnership accounts and business development opportunities using consultative selling approach.
  • Works cross-functionally with other team members to onboard new partnerships, implement new products, and establish a multi-year roadmap.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert within the team. Uses in-depth knowledge of embedded insurance, the insurance industry, market trends and brand partnerships to advise and support team and leadership.
  • Coordinates with internal teams to develop and execute partnership contracts.
  • Serves as liaison between partner and agency services team to facilitate agency appointments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical actions...

  • This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions.
  • Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
  • Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
  • Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
  • Visually verifies and reads information.
  • Visually locates material, resources and other objects.
  • Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift.
  • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.

Education needed...

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Other: Attainment of CIC, CPCU or other insurance license preferred.

Experience needed...

  • At least 3 years of related experience required.
  • Experience managing brand, product or distribution partnerships.
  • Experience working in the insurance industry preferred.

Special skills needed...

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach.
  • Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building.

    o CO Only: $99,920 - $146,520 
    o HI/IL/MN/VT Only: $99,920 - $156,750
