Job Summary
- Responsible for managing and enhancing personal lines product performance in assigned region by leveraging insights across a variety of internal and external sources, conducting root cause analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- This position may lead and manage others.
Essential Job Functions
- Analyzes internal and external data to fully understand profit, production, competitive position and market trends to develop strategies to drive profitable growth.
- Responsible for profits/losses in assigned product/territory.
- Develops long- and short-term plans for their assigned product/territory with State Executives.
- Leverage market research to identify growth opportunities withing the assigned product/territory.
- Takes leadership role in special projects as assigned by State Manager.
- Work with underwriting team to adjust appetite to improve performance, profitability, and agent experience.
- Collaborate with internal partners in Underwriting, Analytics, Actuarial, IT, and Claims to understand profitability, market opportunities and potential system changes.
- Trains and develops product analysts.
- Coordinates state and home office legislative and regulatory affairs providing input on key bills and regulation.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, specifically in a mathematical or statistical field.
Experience Requirements
- 6+ years experience in similar role or one year in an Product Management.
