Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Job Summary

Responsible for corporate results of Sales Performance unit for all products including; Personal Lines, Specialty (Bristol West), Life and Business insurance (Kraft Lake). Develops and executes strategic business plans that will generate corporate gross written premium (GWP), new business (NB) and profit goals. Manages the development and design of a standardized sales model across all business units and product lines. Responsible for managing the development of a highly skilled, professional sales staff and management team.

Essential Job Functions

Responsible for the management and development of Sales Performance staff. Participates in staffing and resource decision making for the unit. Develops staffing model and sales process. Develops and executes short and long-term business and strategic plans with Distribution leadership for Farmers Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Life and Financial Services products. Responsible for growth and profitability of product lines. Identifies market trends using quantitative analysis. Uses findings to recommend changes to product, rates and sales strategies. Responsible for the initiation, positioning and marketing of products and product enhancement availability in specific locations in alignment with distribution strategies. Develops sales strategies for agents. Manages agent segmentation and related technology. Coordinates across Farmers enterprise to identify and implement best practices and opportunities to increase sales.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required with emphasis in marketing, business or insurance preferred. Master's degree in marketing, business or insurance preferred.

Experience Requirements

10 years of experience in the sales industry. 7 years of management experience. Sales Call Center experience strongly preferred. 

Special Skill Requirement

Knowledge of all Farmers product lines, systems and tools preferred. Proven written and oral communication skills. Proficient in the use of current technology as it applies to sales management.
