Treasury Analyst - Cash Management

Job Summary

Key position performing the day-to-day cash management within the Treasury group which will include daily analysis, processing of payments in various forms, cash forecasting and issue resolution while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and controls. Prepare reports and analysis for management personnel at all levels. Assist in providing other finance support and special project analysis as required. Work closely under direct supervision of a Treasury Manager.

Essential Job Functions

  • Administer and analyze daily cash activity, cash flow reconciliations, and cash forecasting for all bank accounts leveraging treasury technologies and implementing efficient cash management best practices & banking structures.
  • Ensure that established compliance procedures and controls are being executed.
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners on inquiries, issues, and escalated requests.
  • Prepare periodic variance analysis and forecasting reports for business review.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly key performance indicator metrics reports.
  • Identifies & participates in process improvement projects.
  • Cross-train for all related treasury functions to serve as an effective backup to the team as needed.
  • Participate in departmental/cross functional projects as needed.
  • Track special projects and initiatives.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports, analysis and conduct special projects as necessary.
  • Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals.
  • Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

Required job duties are essentially sedentary in nature, consisting of occasion walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum, seeing, speaking, and hearing.

Education Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance, economics, accounting, investments, sciences or business.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' prior treasury, finance, or accounting experience.

Special Skill Requirement

  • Applied working knowledge of a treasury management system preferred. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills to communicate effectively with business partners.
  • Solid analytical, financial and systems skills are required, including spreadsheet and basic modeling skills.
  • Self-motivated, attention to detail and deadline oriented, ability to work within tight deadlines.
  • Applied working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) preferred.
