Workplace: Hybrid ( #LI-Hybrid ), Remote ( #LI-Remote ) - depending on candidate location.

About the role...

  • Manages all aspects of a medium scale (up to $10MM in budget) or a local aspect of a global project, including schedule, financials, and deliverables.
  • Responsible for project planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Evaluates and authorizes work requests and reviews cost estimates from suppliers.
  • Coordinates delivery of work from all parties involved.
  • Reviews and approves vendor invoices; produces reports to relevant level of management.
  • Accountable for acceptance criteria, obtains sign offs and conducts post implementation reviews.
  • Meets project deadlines and manages schedules of subject matter experts.
  • Tracks project spend rate and budget projections.

What you'll accomplish...

  • Integrates all team members and departments to ensure they are cooperating and working together to execute the program Forms project teams, including its reporting/organizational structure, and defines roles and responsibilities for each of the team members.
  • Measures results in minimizing conflicts among team members and the capability of the team to pull together and support each other's efforts as required.
  • Develop and construct project plans.
  • Plans will consist of task lists, Gantt charts, and other necessary planning documents.
  • Plans should be well thought out, actionable, reasonable and professionally presented.
  • Manage the scope, schedule and budget of the project and to limit unnecessary change and expansion of scope that may affect each.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience, PMP certification.

Experience needed...

6+ years' experience in a project management environment.

Candidate qualifications may be reviewed against the requirements for the associated levels of this position's core function. Salary grade will be based on selected candidates' experience and skills.

Special skills needed...

  • Project or equivalent Project Management software, MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Proven skills managing project teams in matrix organization reporting structure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach.
  • Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building.
  • Delegating, coaching and evaluating performance.
