Workplace: Hybrid ( #LI-Hybrid ), Remote ( #LI-Remote ) - depending on candidate location.

Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. About the role...

  • Participates as a team member to develop, manage, and amplify marketing and communication plans around talent and recruiting.
  • Responsible for developing action plans and deadlines, assigning tasks to other individuals, tracking project status.
  • Directs and works on less to moderately complex projects and develops results-oriented solutions for the exclusive agent channel.
  • Occasionally leads a particular aspect of complex projects.

What you'll accomplish...

  • Engage Creative Design, Digital Marketing, PR, and Social Media teams to develop, manage, and amplify marketing and communication plans around talent and recruiting.
  • Recommend, design and deliver key events and representation at conferences and other hiring events to accurately represent the Farmers brand.
  • Creates and implements a social media strategy that broadens strategic communication and brand awareness market share.
  • Acts as a project lead on less complex projects, or leads one or more of a particular aspect of complex projects.
  • Is the primary contact of assigned project-related concerns.
  • Develops project/program/product design and scope; determines project milestones and completion dates.
  • Develops project plans, schedules and measures project success.
  • Assists in the development of project budgets, ROI (Return On Investment) and CAP request. Assigns, or works with other business units to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensures all project summaries, progress reports and all out of scope changes are written and reported within the project schedule.
  • Manages detailed tasks, project deliverables and schedules throughout the project development.
  • Identifies project risks and priority issues.
  • Responsible for developing and meeting delivery and implementation requirements and deadlines.
  • Manages multiple tasks and customer expectations.
  • May lead team meetings of less complexity projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical actions...

Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of driving, traveling, occasional walking, standing, and lifting or carrying 20-lbs. maximum.

Physical environment...

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

Education needed...

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Maintain up-to-date skills by continually participating in internal and external education and training classes.

Experience needed...

  • Exposure and knowledge of Recruiting, Marketing, and/or Sales operations.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Candidate qualifications may be reviewed against the requirements for the associated levels of this position's core function; salary grade will be based on selected candidates' experience and skills.

Special skills needed...

  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • MS Office (Excel skills: v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach.
  • Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong relationship building.

  • Farmers offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications and location.

    o CO Only: $68,880 - $100,870 
    o HI Only: $68,880 - $107,910
    o IL/MN/VT Only: $68,880 - $107,910

    o NY/DC/Jersey City Only: $68,880 - $117,040 
             o Albany County: $73,360 - $117,040 
    o WA Only:  $68,880 - $122,625
