Overview of the role...

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining an open dialogue with University of Farmers learners and partners in the business, to better understanding the perceptions they have about University of Farmers products and services.
  • Based on this dialogue, and drawing from current trends in the learning and technology space, this position oversees a team of professionals to create innovative, impactful and accessible learner experiences relevant to the needs of Farmers broader business initiatives.
  • This is done via collaborative, experiential, virtual, social, mobile and face-to-face platforms. Specific tools include Cornerstone On Demand, CorpU, SharePoint.

A day in the life...

  • Creating and maintaining methods for communicating with our 40k+ learners and partners of the University of Farmers about the services and products provided.
  • This includes employees as well as agents, district managers and their staff. Includes providing real time measurements of University of Farmers effectiveness.
  • Create and evolve the strategy for constantly improving the learner experience.
  • This includes input into the technology used for content creation and the ownership of content delivery platforms to our various audiences.
  • Provide council on the look and feel of our physical locations and direct guidance on the experience learners have when attending on site activities.
  • Manage technology vendor relationships for the University of Farmers.
  • Provide management and oversight for learning systems and learning tools groups.

Experience you'll bring...

  • 8+ years experience in creating learning experiences with user-centered design principles.
  • Experience leading teams.

You'll shine if you have...

  • Demonstrated experience working with learning technology, including content/experience creation and delivery, quality assurance practices, technology implementation, end user change management and vendor management.
  • Background in P&C sales, distribution, or brokerage preferred. 
  • Sales leadership in this context desired.
  • Ability to economize and allocate bandwidth and resources to balance the tactical needs of the business with medium- and long-term strategic objectives.

Education needed...

  • Bachelor's degree required in education, psychology, communication or related field.
