Job Summary

Works with Business leaders to identify, propose and influence business solutions; Possesses expertise in the business objectives, processes, and products; Leads large analysis efforts, affecting multiple IT departments; Supports users in building business case, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, and project scope; Oversees business requirement gathering and analysis; Performs impact analysis of making changes affecting multiple application systems and develops cost / benefit analysis; Helps develop application conceptual designs; Mentors lower level colleagues.

Essential Job Functions

•    Analyze, evaluate, define, and document business and system processes and identify and document underlying business requirements and rules
•    Coordinate with the data delivery function on the appropriate technical options and solution architecture for the business need
•    Manage business expectations, resolve conflicts, and keep businesses aligned.
•    Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling - analyze, evaluate and define data requirements, usage and structure
•    Own and develop relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration
•    Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
•    Constantly be on a lookout for ways to improve monitoring, issue discovery and the delivery of better value to the customer
•    Define and perform user acceptance testing and postproduction release validation. 

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

•    5+ years of proven experience in an analytics and systems development capacity
•    High proficiency with SQL language and database management
•    Proven analytical abilities
•    Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to listen, understand and present information in a clear and concise manner to various technical, business stakeholder, and mid-level leadership audiences.
•    Strong knowledge of enterprise data management concepts & processes

Special Skill Requirement

•    Thorough understanding of Master Data Management, Data Analysis, and Data Modeling 
•    MDM experience in Customer (Parties) MDM SME
•    Experience in insurance or financial services industry.

  • CO Only: The pay range for this job being performed in Colorado would be $82,800-110,200
