Job Summary

This position's primary focus will be social media management and digital marketing, including paid search and SEO. Works with Supervisor and department to develop marketing strategies to promote Credit Union membership. Support initiatives outlined in annual marketing plan, including but not limited to formulation and implementation of direct marketing programs, new product launches, and promotional campaigns in print, voice and electronic/web media.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develops and coordinates promotional campaigns as assigned, including strategy, copy and creative; keeps staff apprised of marketing efforts and new products/services
  • Facilitates direct marketing campaigns in accordance with marketing plan/budget/goals using internal data, external data sources and credit bureau scoring to identify member segments and target prospects for product offers
  • Writes, proofreads and edits print and electronic marketing materials and related member and employee communications
  • Participates in new product development and other task forces as assigned
  • Participates in planning, promoting and hosting of special events as needed
  • Is responsible for researching, providing recommendations, coordinating, executing and managing media and email based marketing campaigns

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in a Marketing, Business, or Market Research field preferred.

Experience Requirements

5 years' of experience encompassing direct marketing, market research, corporate communications or advertising (required)

Special Skill Requirement

  • Strong project management skills (required)
  • Proficient in copywriting, business writing, grammar and proofreading (required)
  • Experience utilizing and managing Google Ads, Hootsuite, Social Media campaigns, and Mailchimp
