About the role...

Prepare financial reports and analysis for business unit management personnel at all levels. Provide other finance support and special projects as required. Work closely under direct supervision of a senior Financial Analyst or a Finance Manager.

What you'll accomplish...

•Prepare monthly budget variance analysis and forecasting reports for business review.

•Prepare monthly key performance indicator metrics reports.

•Maintain tables and databases.

•Update financial and business models as necessary.

•Track and report on special projects and initiatives.

•Perform consolidation and analysis on annual strategic and financial planning.

•Prepare ad hoc reports, analysis and conduct special projects as necessary.

•Conduct financial review of vendors and review capital appropriation proposals.

•Participate in process improvement projects.

•Promotes safety at all times and complies with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals.

Physical actions...

Required job duties are essentially sedentary in nature, consisting of occasion walking, standing, lifting and/or carrying ten pounds maximum, seeing, speaking, and hearing.

Physical environment...

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate- controlled office environment.

Education needed...

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Experience needed...

External candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of prior Accounting or Finance experience. The same time-on-job requirement is preferred for internal candidates.

Special skills needed...

Advanced Excel skills including working knowledge of pivot tables, macros and functions. Proficient in SAP.

Farmers offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications and location.
o CA Only: $71,520 - $103,800
o CO Only: $67,200 - $89,400
o New York City, NY/Westchester County: $83,040 - $103,800
o WA Only: $71,520 - $119,625
