Job Summary

  • The Paid Search Director role is responsible for leading an In-House Paid Search team, accountable to the the strategy and execution of Paid Search campaigns across Farmers Insurance.
  • This role will focus across three core responsibilities: Build a Best In Class Paid Search Team, Develop Paid Search Strategies and campaign structures to deliver positive ROI, Works cross functionally with Enterprise Marketing, Distribution, and Product.
  • Paid Search is a core pillar of Farmers Lead Generation Strategy, this role is empowered to set a vision and roadmap for Search across the enterprise, and will be a Performance Marketing Leader at Farmers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manages and develops a team of In-House paid search experts.
  • Builds a strong team culture of continued improvement, operational excellence, subject matter expertise.
  • Oversees campaign performance, daily, weekly, monthly. Ensure accurate and timely reporting and forecasting.
  • Develop advanced bidding strategies to best go to market in the highly competitive insurance space.
  • Partners across the enterprise with Product, Distribution, IT to ensure Paid Search Strategy is aligned with business needs.
  • Integrate profitability trends, distribution needs, and all while ensuring paid search is managed to a profitable ROI.
  • Leads relationships with Paid Search partners and technology vendors. Identifies trends in paid search landscape and develop strong POV on the impact on the Farmers Business.
  • Partner and Integrate across Farmers Marketing to ensure Paid Search is core to a holistic marketing strategy.
  • Integrate Brand Media into search forecasting, and ROI calculations.
  • Partner with Analytics team to ensure Paid Search is delivering a positive ROI and driving incremental volume.
  • Serves all external paid search media needs corporate-wide to ensure completion of the marketing strategy through the development and implementation of media planning, buying, and campaign optimization.
  • Partners across the enterprise to ensure alignment of campaigns.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.

Experience Requirements

  • 7-10 years experience in Paid Search Engine Optimization Marketing required, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Proven knowledge of developing and executing on media campaign strategies from inception.

  • CO Only: The pay range for this job being performed in CO would be $117,120 – $155,900
