Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Job Summary

Develops short term strategy and implementation for commercial lines products within designated territory with very high premium exposure. Creates market specific strategies and operating standards for profitable growth. Oversees tactical product and pricing changes. Works with Sales, Underwriting and Service partners to meet stated product goals and service standards. Oversees a team of Product/Pricing Analysts. Advises and influences key stakeholders on product processes and procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborates with Sales & Underwriting partners on strategic vision for designated territory.
  • Develops market strategies through class and risk management techniques.
  • Creates product initiatives, rating and filing strategies.
  • Influences Claims team in the review of claim management protocols, state loss trends and large loss reviews and implements changes.
  • Oversees research of national, state and product industry trends to develop strategies in order to take advantage of changing markets prior to the competition.
  • Works with the senior leadership to develop short and long-term initiatives.
  • Regularly reports results to managers and senior level leaders.
  • Partners with Project Management in the oversight of projects through implementation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • 7-10 years related experience required.
  • Commercial insurance experience preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required preferably in business management, mathematics, management information, finance, actuarial science, economics or other analytics related field.

Additional Qualification

  • Possesses strong product knowledge.
  • General knowledge of Commercial Lines P&C products.
  • Demonstrated P&L management experience.
  • Possesses strong technical aptitude.
  • Strong relationship building.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Microsoft office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
  • SaaS, SQL abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and develop staff.

    o CO Only: $123,120 - $180,180 
    o HI Only: $123,120 - $192,940
    o IL/MN/VT Only: $123,120 - $192,940

    o NY/DC/Jersey City Only: $123,120 - $209,110 
             o Albany County: $131,040 - $180,180 
    o WA Only:  $123,120 - $219,250
