Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Job Summary
- Responsible for providing analytical support for the development of successful functional area strategies across the enterprise through partnering with leadership and other team members in identifying data, analytics, and reporting needs, process improvement opportunities and solutions focused on our customers, people, process and technology.
- Partners closely with other analytic teams and enterprise data organization to coordinate data requirements, solution design, estimation, and delivery or reporting.
- Supports leadership team with an understanding of the competitive landscape, analysis of innovative solutions to customers and agents, and strategic communications for internal audiences.
Essential Job Functions
- Utilizes data from multiple sources to develop complex reporting for cross functional leaders.
- Offers perspectives, strategies and alternatives to reach the desired resolution for organization.
- Uses competitive intelligence and agent feedback to help inform strategy and opportunities.
- Work closely with other advanced analytic departments to gather in-depth findings and presents findings to leadership and stakeholders.
- Applies decision making frameworks for assessing business requirements against new technology in order to evaluate vendor offerings.
- Conducts research and deducts insights on key strategic functional area and industry topics.
- Leverage findings and ideas to inform related strategy recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensures effective communication of strategic business perspectives and related business value to business leaders and other project stakeholders.
- Promotes seamless interaction between project contributors to develop and execute project strategy and achieve superior results.
- Develops, maintains, and analyzes functional area strategy roadmaps across the enterprise.
- Oversee direct reports and support the department overall for the professional development to ensure employee engagement and continual improvement within the team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
Experience Requirements
- 7+ years experience in the P&C insurance industry, with familiarity with data analytics and product knowledge.
- Leadership experience.
Special Skill Requirement
- Possesses strong technical aptitude.
- MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven experience with data analytics software SQL, SAS or Tableau preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- Advanced reporting skills.
- Possesses a high degree of initiative.
- Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills.

o Albany County: $119,920 - $164,890
