Job Summary
As a Copywriter at Toggle, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand voice and communicating complex insurance concepts to our target audience. Your creative flair and ability to craft compelling and persuasive content will be essential in driving customer engagement, trust, and loyalty. In addition to your core copywriting responsibilities, you'll also be responsible for improving and managing our copy tracking system, ensuring seamless content management and optimization.
Essential Job Functions
Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and engaging copy for various channels, including website pages, email campaigns, blog posts, social media content, advertising materials, and more.
Brand Voice Development: Collaborate with the marketing team and customer experience team to refine and maintain a consistent brand voice that resonates with our target audience and reflects our company values.
Product Communication: Translate technical insurance concepts into easy-to-understand language for our audience, ensuring that customers comprehend the benefits and features of our insurance products.
Campaign Development: Contribute to the ideation and creation of marketing campaigns, providing creative and compelling copy that aligns with campaign themes and objectives.
SEO Optimization: Write content that is optimized for search engines, incorporating relevant keywords to improve our online visibility and ranking.
Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency, ensuring a high level of quality and consistency in all communications.

Education Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 5-7 years of copywriting or corporate communications experience required. Preferably within the insurance, finance, or related industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles and formats, including web content, social media, and marketing materials.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and listening.
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Creativity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of insurance terminology and concepts is a plus.
- Experience with startups or dynamic work environments is desirable.
Additional Qualification
- Excellent collaboration and team building skills. Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents.
- Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.
- Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Figma (Figma is a plus).
- Able to use content management systems.
