Job Summary

Farmers Group (Woodland Hills, CA) seeks an Agile Dev Team Member IV responsible to primarily test discipline ensure that the product meets the business acceptance criteria and non -functional requirements. Specific duties include: design, develop, deploy and maintain automated test suites; build and maintain UI automation framework from scratch by using Selenium; build and maintain test automation framework for APIs; define and execute test early, often, and at multiple levels depending on their level of experience; develop clean, high-quality and reusable codes based on programming standards; write reliable, readable tests which are fully documented; write clear and detail defect report when things break and work with team for its resolution, and; work with Testing tools such as Selenium-Java, SoapUI, Postman, RESTAssured and databases such as MongoDB or similar. Option to work remotely is available.

 

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Software Developer in Test, Senior Engineer, Test Engineer, Manager – Projects, or similar position in software testing. Specific experience must include working with: web automation testing tools Selenium, Playwright, and Selenide; API automation testing tools SoapUI, Postman, and RESTAssured; databases SQL Server and Oracle MongoDB; test automation framework using Selenium WebDriver; Configuration Management Tool in Git and GitHub; TestNG framework and build tools Gradle and Maven; Page Object model and Data Driven framework; and APIs and Cloud services automation testing. Specific experience must also include each of the following: creating robust, reusable test automation solutions; writing code for automation using Java; and building CI automation pipelines using Jenkins and Docker. Option to work remotely is available.
