Job Summary
Farmers (Woodland Hills, CA) seeks an Application Subject Matter Expert III to delivers specific ML Ops engineering tasks such as moderate to complex level designing, developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining models, systems, and applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Specific duties include: collaborate with cross-functional architecture teams to define and integrate frameworks and roadmaps for machine learning solutions; consults on the design, development, and implementation of DevOps and ML Ops pipelines; lead portions of deployment processes under guidance from people leader; review, verify, validate, and troubleshoot code to ensure high availability and high performance of machine learning models and applications; use complex knowledge and understanding of code management principles and best practices to follow architectural and governance guidelines; and communicate and apply machine learning engineering value, concepts, and strategies across multiple scenarios. Position requires AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification. Option to work remotely is available.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Database Administrator, Data Engineer, Senior Software Developer, Computer System Analyst or similar position designing, developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining models, systems, and applications. Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following: managing infrastructure operations, focusing on optimization, disaster recovery planning, and operational excellence; classifying application tier levels and providing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality support and availability; designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Azure DevOps for automated deployments; performing container orchestration and management using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) and Docker; performing infrastructure automation using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Python for cloud resource provisioning and configuration; and working with AWS services including S3, KMS, IAM, EC2, ECS, Batch, ECR, and Lambda. Must have AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification. Option to work remotely is available.
