Job Summary
Farmers (Woodland Hills, CA) seeks an Associate Business Solution Analyst to partner with business teams to design and implement complex data-centric and value-added systems and solutions that enable business outcomes. Specific duties include: partner with data teams to design and implement complex data-centric and value-added analytics, reporting, and insights that enable business outcomes (45%); work on projects of moderate to high complexity – performing work independently with minimal guidance (25%); collaborate with business units to obtain necessary data requirements to establish performance measurements via dashboards for analysis (10%); recommend complex enterprise-wide data pipeline strategies that utilize various data-marts and data warehouse applications to enhance reporting (10%); and provides ad-hoc analysis and insights for executive meetings (10%). Position requires quarterly travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Data Scientist Intern, Data Analyst, Data Analyst Intern, Marketing Analyst, or similar position designing and implementing data-centric and value-added systems and solutions that enable business outcomes. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, or a closely related field of study, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or similar position designing and implementing data-centric and value-added systems and solutions that enable business outcomes. Must have 2 years of experience with each of the following: working in P&C insurance industry with distribution channel, particularly exclusive agents; predictive analysis; data modeling in Python and SQL; regression analysis; machine learning; Guidewire PolicyCenter application system; Segment data including creation of Segment data tracking events; web analytics systems Mixpanel and Full Story; working with real time web service and near real time message based integrations; working with integration accelerators; designing business workflows and user interface screens; working with external systems and services for data exchange; performing quality review checks on project deliverables; acting as liaison between Business and IT while holding an end-to-end view of the system; and specifying and recommending integration and parallel testing criteria. Must be willing to quarterly travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely.
