Job Summary

Farmers Group (Woodland Hills, CA) seeks an Enterprise Data Management Program Manager II to be responsible for ensuring Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions, such as data governance and data quality standards, data stewardship, and external regulatory statistical reporting are integrated into the business, and IT where applicable. Specific duties include: analyzing business requirements (SRS#s) and Preliminary System Design documentation; supporting development and implementation of EDM sponsored projects and initiatives; developing business requirements for initiatives that affect the flow of information within the organization; developing business requirements for new information reporting initiatives; supporting periodic reviews of enterprise data and information needs; supporting EDM management in communicating data governance policies and principles to business units and Information Technology; coordinating Enterprise data quality monitoring, tracking and reporting to ensure data quality improves throughout the organization over time; staying current on technology and professional development; and promoting safety at all times and complying with safety/ergonomic standards as outlined in relevant company published manuals. Option to work remotely.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or similar position. Experience must include at least 3 years of experience with each of the following: analyzing and resolving data quality issues; working within the Insurance industry; working with a team; working with mainframe programming; working with SQL, DB2 Databases, Microsoft Office; collaborating on a cross-department level; working on multiple projects simultaneously; delivering project deliverables based on deadlines; and working with CLS (Commercial Legacy System). Option to work remotely.
