Job Summary

Ensures IT governance and project management standard methodology and processes are followed; Supports Program Managers in tracking and review of project status, risks, and financial implications via the local reporting process; Performs local PMO related tasks and provides global reporting; Supports other team members in delivery of their tasks; Understands roles and responsibilities of Local and Global PMO and how they interface; Understands requirements of PMO customers, both at local and global levels and how to respond; Acts as liaison between local PMO and business customers/Account Executives.

Essential Job Functions

Ensures standard methodology and processes are followed in Governance and Project Management Supports the Program Manager in the reporting and tracking of project status, risks and issues in the Global Project Tracking database Supports the Program Manager in the review of project status, risks, issues and financial implications via the local reporting process Is able to perform all local PMO related tasks (including Key Initiative Reviews, Pre-CITO summaries) and is able to deliver them to the global reporting schedules Supports other members of the PMO team in the delivery of their tasks Is able to provide cover and support during holiday/training periods for more senior members of the team Is able to define and explain scope/role of Local PMO with Program Managers and Account Executives Understands how Local PMO interfaces with Global PMO and boundaries or roles/responsibilities Understands requirements of PMO customers at both local and global level and is able to make informed decisions in response to customer requirements Acts as liaison between local PMO and business customers/Account Executives GLOBAL ONLY: Key Tasks for Position Level I: Supports local PMO teams with training and the use of the Global Project Tracking Data base Is able to perform all global reporting and Management Information (MI) production, including Line of Business (LoB) consolidations Is able to act as a liaison between global PMO and local PMO

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Formal training in IT Project Management.

Experience Requirements

Level I: At least 1 year working in a project support role 

Special Skill Requirement

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
•    Will support IT PMO team in tracking and reviewing of initiative status, risks, and maintaining action items
•    Will support other members of the PMO team in the waterfall and Agile delivery
•    Support Agile teams with PI Planning Meeting 
•    Understands the SAFe Agile and Metrics
•    Creates/updates and documents, procedures and any other material as required
•    Scribe for IT PMO meetings

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
•    Knowledge of SAFe
•    Knowledge of Clarity and Rally
•    Knowledge of Box, MS Office, and SharePoint
•    Knowledge of Reporting and SQL querying 
•    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
•    Ability to work independently and prioritize short- and long-term deliverables quickly
•    Strong IT background
