Job Summary
As a Product Manager - Microsoft 365, you will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, development, and implementation of Microsoft 365 products, with a particular emphasis on MS Teams and M365 Copilot. You will act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and customers to ensure that business and customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will stay current with Microsoft's product roadmaps, thoughtfully introducing new features and enhancements to Farmers. By leveraging industry insights, customer feedback, competitive research, and data analytics, you will continuously define, prioritize, and validate product requirements. Your role will involve guiding program-level work through the Program Kanban process, developing and maintaining the product vision and roadmap, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve strategic goals and deliver exceptional customer value. This position requires strategic leadership within your business unit and across the enterprise, ensuring that the Microsoft 365 suite is utilized to its fullest potential.

What You'll Do
- Stay Informed on Microsoft 365 Roadmaps: Keep up-to-date with Microsoft's product roadmaps, understanding upcoming features and enhancements for MS Teams, M365 Copilot, and other Microsoft 365 products.
- Strategic Feature Introduction: Thoughtfully introduce new Microsoft 365 features to Farmers Insurance at the right time, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic goals.
- Develop Program Vision and Roadmap: Independently develop and maintain the program vision and roadmap, illustrating how new and existing features of Microsoft 365 products will be implemented over time to deliver maximum value.
- Collaborate with System Architect: Work closely with the System Architect to define and maintain Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs) and other enabler work, ensuring that the solutions meet relevant standards and system quality requirements.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and customers to ensure that business and customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Continuous Exploration and Research: Embrace continuous exploration through frequent customer interaction, user interviews, surveys, and market research. Use findings to shape the strategy, vision, roadmap, and selection of features for Microsoft 365 products.
- Voice of the Customer: Act as the internal voice of the customer, working with Product Owners to understand and communicate customer needs, and participate in the validation of proposed solutions.
- Work with Development Teams: Collaborate closely with development teams in short, integrated learning cycles, ensuring that the voice of the customer is communicated to developers and that developers' insights are communicated back to customers.

- Program Kanban Management: Manage the flow of work through the program Kanban, addressing dependencies and ensuring smooth implementation of Microsoft 365 features.
- Define and Validate Requirements: Continuously define, prioritize, and validate product requirements, ensuring that the most valuable features are delivered to customers.
- Release Readiness and Decision Making: Independently make key decisions regarding release readiness and determine when enough value has been accrued to warrant a release to customers.
- Active Participation in Demos and Workshops: Participate actively in biweekly System Demos and the aggregated System Demo at the end of the Program Increment. Involve in the assessment of metrics, evaluating business value achieved versus plan, and participate in the Inspect and Adapt workshop.
- Introduce PI Planning Concepts: Introduce concepts of Program Increment (PI) planning to the team and organization, highlighting its benefits and how it can be adapted to improve planning and execution.
- Team Collaboration and Development: Build an effective Product Management/Product Owner team, ensuring efficient and effective development. Support the professional development of Product Owners and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
What You'll Bring
- 7-10 years Product and/or Operations Management experience or related experience required.
- 2 years experience in PM II or similar role preferred.
- 5-7 years leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 products, particularly MS Teams and M365 Copilot, is highly desirable.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- SAFe Product Manager Certified within 180 days of hire required.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Relevant Microsoft certifications preferred, such as:
