Job Summary
Provides high level of expertise in end user computing, focusing on software imaging, software packaging, software distribution, and patching. Understands the management of physical and virtual endpoints, hardware fulfillment processes and supporting technologies, and end user support. Works closely with the IT team to design solutions for end user computing needs.Responsible for the conceptual and logical architecture and design of end user computing solutions. Reviews and validates technical designs and estimates provided by suppliers. Reviews and approves detailed technical designs created by implementation teams. Performs impact analysis of changes across multiple systems and provides Rough Order of Magnitude estimates. Recommends integration and testing criteria. Mentors lower level colleagues.

What You'll Do
- Understands end users’ processes and needs and how they fit within the goals of the company.
- Reviews and validates the detailed technical design for end user computing solutions provided by suppliers to ensure alignment with business requirements;
- Validates suppliers estimates.
- Reviews and approves detailed technical designs created by implementation teams.
- Estimates Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort/cost of new end user computing functionality.
- Performs quality review checks on project deliverables.
- Acts as liaison between Business and IT, as assigned.
What You'll Do (continued)
- Supports users in building Business Cases, including cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high level plan.
- Supports implementation activities, troubleshooting system environmental issues, and providing training as required.
- Performs impact analysis of end user computing changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system.
- Specifies/Recommends integration and testing criteria.
- Is responsible for the conceptual design of end user computing solutions.
- Mentors lower level colleagues.
- Works closely with the IT team in driving solutions for specific end user computing needs (e.g., software imaging, software packaging, software distribution, patching, etc.).
- Additional Tasks: Supports end user computing problem tickets as necessary, assisting with root cause analysis and recommendations for future mitigation.
What You'll Bring
- Level IV: 6 years of experience in application development / testing or business / system analysis role or 1 year of experience as an Application SME Level lIl.
- Level IV: 6 years of experience in end user computing, software imaging, software packaging, software distribution, and patching, preferred.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
