Sr. Product Analyst-Innovation

Job Summary

  • This position will be on the Personal Lines Product Innovation and Integration team supporting the research and build of innovations across Personal Lines products.
  • Conducts research and development activities regarding new personal lines insurance programs and coordinates their introduction with other departments.
  • Responsible for obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information that supports revenue growth and profitability.
  • Recommends strategies for improving results and market position. 

Essential Job Functions

  • Reviews and monitors customer satisfaction and other operational metrics on a regular basis to identify trends across different sources.
  • Produces documentation of key insights, solution recommendations, and action plans to address CE gaps.
  • Focuses on Customer Experience and User Experience analysis to drive increased engagement with Personal Lines innovation offerings.
  • Performs primary field research, including customer, distribution, competitor, insurance department, and market surveys. Identifies market segments and develops specialized pricing approaches with customer in mind.
  • Provides detailed requirements for systems implementation projects.
  • Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results, such as Customer Experience and Product Management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Physical Actions

Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing, and lifting and/or carrying 10 lbs maximum, and seeing.

Physical Environment

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

Four years experience in similar role or graduate degree and two years experience in similar role.

Special Skill Requirement

  • Analytical thinking and aptitude; ability to apply quantitative data analysis techniques to improve processes, and ability to interpret data in a business framework (trends, opportunities, action items), present data, and provide analysis and insights to key stakeholders and senior management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, proactive and action-oriented individual with ability to work across the organization and ability to build strong business relationships quickly.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple diverse tasks at once and ensure continued progress
  • Proficient PC Skills, including Excel, Access, SQL, SAS, Word and basic programming for statistical purposes.
