Job Summary

Farmers (Woodland Hills, CA) seeks a Strategic Assistant to the CEO to be responsible for strategic administrative support by providing specialized knowledge in planning, organizing, and controlling activities to meet strategic objectives and financial targets. Specific duties include: lead the daily activities of the CEO's Office to ensure the correct direction, activities, and pace for the CEO, following the business' strategic ambition and priorities; provide meeting support to the CEO; analyze all correspondence sent to the CEO; manage and coordinate all governance and operational aspects of weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings; provide detailed briefing documents for all meetings, discussions, and presentations; coordinates and ensures appropriate content preparation for highly sensitive meetings on behalf of CEO; coordinate, provide and review reports for Board meetings; drive the meeting's agenda, deliver timely materials, and monitor follow-up actions; review correspondence to determine prioritization, highlight critical issues, flag potential risks, and delegate where appropriate; work with the Executive team to develop the goals and performance framework to allow effective people management by the CEO; act as the central point of contact to drive specific projects; and manage CEO communications, digital and face-to-face events, including company, industry, and national broadcast events, leadership conferences, annual roadshows, and monthly site visits. Position requires occasional travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely is available.

Position requires 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Business Administration and Economics, or closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or in a similar Strategic Assistant or Strategic Analyst position. Specific experience must include: analyzing and interpreting financial data; working in the Insurance industry and following global Insurance trends; designing and implementing enterprise solutions and change management; using communication and negotiation skills to drive execution of organizational priorities; managing relationship with senior executives; working on highly confidential matters; working with SAP for contract expense management; working with MyPDC, including SuccessFactors; working with Excel data management tools, including pivot tables, data tables, linking across files, nested formulas, array formulas and data cleaning, and data validation analysis; and working with Advanced PowerPoint tools, including ThinkCell, combination charts, and templates. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely is available.
