Job Summary

Farmers Group (Woodland Hills, CA) seeks a Subject Matter Expert III to provide expertise in MDM, ETL and infrastructure support of Customer Master Data Management. Specific duties include: coordinating with business partners, architects, analysts, and developers to provide integration support based on business requirements; analyzing and revising existing documentation for continuous improvement, quality, and optimization; managing application access controls and adherence to standards, conduct semiannual re-certification - reporting results in application scorecards and status reports; infrastructure environment support for projects and troubleshooting environmental and data issues; performing quality review checks on project/release deliverables; managing team member onboarding and support; managing and leading the Infrastructure upgrades with best solutions in terms of efficiency, scalability; managing the environments efficiently, enabling the DevOps methodologies and industry best practice. Option to work remotely is available.

 

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field of study. Position requires 5 years of experience in the job offered, or similar position in application development/testing or business/system analysis role. Must have 5 years of experience with: delivering Java / J2E Business Solutions; and working with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Specific experience must also include: working with MDM environments, data modeling principles, and master data management concepts; administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins; programming in Java; working with Shell scripting; working with SQL development; working with Informatica ETL; explaining complex concepts and issues in simple terms; and identifying and escalating issues and risks to management for direction. Option to work remotely is available.
