Job Summary
Designs and develops architecture delivery (integration, process, applications, data and technology) with alignment to the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in System Architecture or related field. Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Manages a team of architects, developers, and other technical staff. In addition, this role will support End User Computing, Collaboration, and AV, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of these services within the enterprise architecture framework.
This is a Hybrid opportunity located in Woodland Hills, CA or Phoenix, AZ.
Internal position title is System Architect Leader.
What You'll Do
- Manages a team of architects, developers, and other technical staff. Influences and addresses complex problems by leading technical planning, architecture development, and modifications of physical specifications for specific technologies or platforms.
- Requires deep and/or broad expertise in System Architecture to design and develop complex physical architectures that support specialized systems or platforms, ensuring alignment with established system standards and principles. Reviews detailed designs and code to confirm consistency with high-level design and architectural guidelines.
- Executes proofs-of-concept and pilots to demonstrate quick business outcomes. Facilitates a “test and learn” design thinking environment. Operates independently, seeking guidance only in the most complex situations, including pilot execution and evaluation of system performance, scalability, and health. Responsible for defining and aligning system standards and principles.
- May lead or oversee complex, cross-functional projects and manage relationships with vendors and contractors. Provides strong influence and accountability for the success of the vendor roadmap, maximizing the value delivered by the platform.
- Must have domain knowledge in one or more areas of End User Computing, Collaboration, and AV solutions, and should possess deep knowledge of the M365 ecosystem, including Microsoft Teams and the Power Platform.
What You'll Bring
- 6 years relevant experience in System Architecture within specific technology or platform, preferably as technical lead.
- Experience in delivering technical solution architecture.
Special Skill Requirement
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite and specifically, Power Platform and MS Teams.
- Working knowledge of End User Computing concepts and technologies.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in information systems, computer science, mathematics, engineering, business, or related area.
Physical Environment
This role, whether performed virtually or in an office setting, will include normal and customary distractions, noise, and interruptions. Sits or stands for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance. Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (e.g. others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Visually verifies and reads information. Visually locates material, resources and other objects. Ability to operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift. Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.
