Evaluates performance concerning the quality of file management and the disposition of all claims relative to the Quality Assurance Guidelines for all personal lines claims and Commercial automobile claims; handles Department of Insurance and Home Office complaints; disseminates best practices; and provides technical assistance.
Essential Job Functions
Evaluates Field Claim Centers, Centers of Excellence, Care Centers and Vendor Network performance in accordance with Claims Quality Assurance Guidelines, and identifies local best practices in claim file handling. These evaluations may be either in the field or virtual, and will include reinspections of some losses. Evaluations will be conducted as a team effort, and assignment to the teams may change throughout the course of the year. Trains Quality Assurance Consultants. Acts as mentors for Branch Claims Supervisors. Investigates, reviews and prepares responses to customer complaints, and Insurance Department Complaints as assigned. Provides analysis of performance results and prepares written reports as assigned. Recommends course of action to correct unfavorable performance trends and claims supervisory deficiencies. Solicits and evaluates best practices from field claims staff for rapid dissemination company wide. Leads challenge team sessions and results discussions. Evaluates local regulatory compliance. Assists team leaders in scheduling of evaluations, and makes recommendations regarding re-measurement criteria. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, but with exposure to some or all of the following environments when in the field: Uncontrolled outside environmental conditions Excessive Noise Levels Chemicals Chemical/Biological Conditions Moving Mechanical Parts Areas considered dangerous Conditions, which could affect the respiratory system or skin such as: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, oils, smoke, soot, or poor ventilation.
Three years of prior claims experience.
