Leads the complete design of Farmers payment experience and supporting processes. Ensures integration of billing and payment-related touch points and systems within the context of the Farmers enterprise strategy. Leads and collaborates cross-functionally while leveraging industry, customer, and competitive research, along with data analytics to bring payment products to market that meet Farmers' goals and objectives. Provides strategic oversight, direction, and leadership to direct reports and is relied upon for strategic leadership within the Personal Lines Billing and Payments function and across the enterprise.
Essential Job Functions
Be the voice of the customer through research and data to inform and prioritize product needs for Farmers. Partners with various business lines to understand product development plans and take action in reflecting content within the payment experience. Acts as a subject matter expert and consultant on applications within assigned business unit. Participates in strategic, operational and tactical planning of complex projects with enterprise scope and impact. Leads the effort in defining our vision and strategy to ensure action is aligned with the strategic imperatives of the business. Performs and understands in-depth of unique business and system process. Designs, executes and negotiates/gains support for projects and ideas maximizing results, efficiency, effectiveness and customer service driving line of business alignment and coordination. Partners closely with assigned business unit and determines which emerging issues are relevant to the organization and its future needs. Works closely with delivery team to ensure product is being delivered in alignment with design. Conducts research and evolve Farmers’ understanding of the competitive landscape to guide product development and market strategy. Oversees direct reports and supports the department overall for the professional development and management of the team; ensures employee engagement and continual improvement within the team. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
7-10 years product management experience preferred. 5-7 years leadership experience preferred.
