Develop a comprehensive organizational readiness strategy, including change management at all levels. Develop, direct and execute a multi-year strategy for SAFe Agile Transformation across Personal Lines. Cultivate an environment where transparency, speed, quality and innovation are at the forefront while exhibiting an entrepreneurial mindset. Directly influence executives, leaders, business units, and technology teams on Agile principles, values, building techniques, growth, and maintain a thriving agile organization.
Essential Job Functions
Define the Personal Lines Agile transformation vision and strategy. Manage a Business Transformation team delivering on the Personal Lines Agile Transformation vision and strategy. Properly designs and applies business standardization methods in accordance with relevant global and/or regional initiatives with the support of the Project Management Office, Business Change and IT. Defines near-term/long-term goals and drive approaches to ensure realization of business benefits from Agile efforts. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve operational processes to improve consistency of delivery, improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs. Effectively assesses opportunities, gains support for improvements and follows through with implementation. Provides leadership oversight and governance on all Personal Lines Agile transformation efforts. Partners closely with all functional stakeholders to facilitate the Personal Lines Agile transformation, through training and coaching across multiple levels (executive, enterprise, value stream, program, and team) and locations. Collaborates with Agile Leaders across other business units to define best practices and implementation strategies in order to obtain sustained agile success. In partnership with University of Farmers, facilitates organizational learning, change management, and process adoption of Agile via metrics, benefits realization, outcomes, and retrospective findings. Provides Agile Leadership coaching and training to ScrumMasters, Product Owners, functional managers and executives. Deliver coaching of individual teams in all aspects of scrum and kanban including planning, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, limiting wip, etc. Serves as subject matter expert and provides coaching to teams and leadership towards improving Agile process and metrics, evaluate and mentor existing Scrum teams, and deliver training courses for product owners, developers, and testers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree required. Technical degree, SPC 4 or above required. One or more Agile and/or Six Sigma related certifications (KMP and SPC4 preferred). Certified in Change Management practices required.
7-10 years project management or technical leadership experience, leading large, complex deliveries preferred. 5-7 years experience applying Agile practices and principles including SAFe, Scrum and/or Kanban including demonstrated ability to inspect and adapt Agile practices to various situations. Experience completing a transformation program with organization of over 2,000 members required. 3-5 years in Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Lean Role.
